I would have to say it's a tie for me... Battlefield 2's graphics are phenomenal in the screenshots, and destructable terrain is going to freaking own. However, I've always been a sucker for Star Wars games, and this looks like it could be the very best yet (although Dark Forces will be hard to top)... aaaaagh, so many good things coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bulb:

They're both completely rehashed. Why the fuck would I want something to do with that?

Wahoo, pretty graphics. How's about gameplay Jon. Post some of that.

How on earth am I supposed to post gameplay? They're not out... hardly anybody's played them. I have no idea what the gameplay will be like... I was just asking about your guys' hopes, basically. The screenshots were just for fun eyecandy. So chill out dude.

I agree fear...games nowadays seem to lack what they had 10 years ago...

Hmmm its a tough choice for me. As cody pointed out, we dont know how good the gameplay is yet and I usually base my purchasing of games between gamespot.com, PC Gamer magazine, and friends reccommendadions.

I have BF: Vietnam. Sure, its a great game overall, but IMO can get a tad repetative after a while. If i bought BF2 I would probably like it, but i dont want to fork out another $50 for a game that I wouldent REALLY like.

As for Starwars Battlefront, I havent read much about it, and I have never really gotten into any of the starwars PC games not because I dont want to but because ive been playing other games and yadda yadda yadda. Ive heard that its going to be a lot like the battlefield games but with a starwars twist. Depending on how the reviews go, that generally appeals to me more than BF2.

So to sum things up for me, although im not totally jumping up and down for either game, depending on how the reviews go, im leaning slightly towards Starwars: Battlefront.

If i had to choose one of them id choose star wars. It is everything ive wanted in a star wars multiplayer game. But i will probably get both and pay 100 bucks or somein... unless.. i can hack one =p...!!!!
