It was for my motorcycle incident a couple months ago :< As if I hadn't learned my lesson allready! Trashing my bike and going to the hospitol is not fun :mad: and now they want MORE freaking money. Bastards. I had the option to just leave without calling the cops for it. Could have saved myself a shitload of money, but I was hurt pretty bad (I thought I had something really wrong with my back) So I let him call up the ambulance :<

What are you in for? Should we start a support group? lol

Considering I'm fresh out of Driver's E.D. and have had it drilled into my head not to break laws, I would wait. In a year my answer might change....;)

Depends on the location I guess, some of these traffic lights have the cameras installed on top that take pictures...all they do is send you the ticket in the mail, so I try to avoid it if I can.

About the Perfect Score reference:
They're debating stealing the answers to the SATs, and one says, "It's just wrong. You don't do it. If you come to a red light, and no one is around, do you run it?"
The guy responds, "If what you're trying to get to is very important, then yes."
{paraphrased}

I always run it, even when there are cars zooming buy at 90 MPH. In fact I ran over 3 people just last week. That's just how cool I am =)

J/k, but I do run em' when nobody's around. =)

LOL I don't believe you had manslaughter, that is a lil' more serious than a traffic violation...

Hrm...maybe I should clarify. I'd stop long enough to make absolutely sure there's nobody around, but if not, I wouldn't wait for the light to go green again.

This thread really hit home today at the intersection of Bakerview and Northwest at about 6 this morning. I swear to god the light would not turn green.. The sensors on the road (or the total lack of them) were not detecting me sitting there... But alas, I waited.

Damn this poll so many hard decisions... in the end i went with bacon... only cause i havent eaten really anything today and im hungry :grumpy: . But i would advise not going i know 3 people who got caught and fined like 300 dollars for running the light.

They are harder to detect, and it is frustrating for bikers...one of the options is to roll back, then go directly over the sensor, which should be marked...or wait for a vehicle to come behind you to trip the sensors

Expunge

Yeah it's pretty easy to distinguish them, because on interesections where they've been added there are two rectangular patches of black top, each marked with tar around them. Underneith those are sensors. However, since bikes aren't very heavy it's kind of hard to trip them apperantly.
