Stupid me!

Sooo stupid me... I just passed up on a chance to pick up an old laptop for $50. In hindsight it would have made the perfect monitor in my truck for hooking up my Xbox/DVD player. So does anybody know a cheap source of used laptops, preferably just the screens(to save $$$)?

You cant use just the screen from a laptop without spending money on extra equipment to make it work. It would cost just as much to buy a new LCD.

they have a chip in between the graphics card and the monitor that codes the image right for it. There is usually not a simple part you can purchase, as they are made specificly for it generally. So basicly what excessive said.
