I realy want to see it too. But luckly, Bourne Supremacy comes out on the 23ed. That will tide my movie habit over untill AvP comes out.

On a side note. I am disapointed to see Will Smith as the lead role in I Robot. Bad choice as far as I am concerned. But I will see it when it comes out anyway. :shrug:

AVP absolutely must suck complete ass. It came too suddenly. Smells like a milkjob to me. I'll see it, because I'm a huge fan of the Alien series, but it's not something I'm proud of.

Now Bourne Supremacy....now THAT'S a movie I'm looking forward too!

Aye. They started filming early '04, as I recall. I'll guess a 20% rotten tomatoes score.

As far as I could tell. They started filming late October 2003. That may be wrong. But thats what a quick Google search found for me.

I dunno the trailer looks well done enough - if they use those scenes (a big mistake SW: EP 2 made - they didn't use the takes from the trailer...the ones that were actually good) then at least 2 1/2 minutes of the movie will be good. ;)

This may not be a big deal to the rest of you, but people's prior work really influences my expectations of their coming work... the writer/director of AvP (Paul W.S. Anderson) has a terrible track record, as most of his films are riddled with ridiculous plots, special effects, and sub-par acting (see Resident Evil)...

However, I'm a moderate Alien fan, but a HUGE Predator fan... so I will likely watch this movie within the first week or two that it has been released. I just don't have high expectations.

I'm thinking the 20% Rotten Tomatoes score will be about right.

Bourne Supremacy will rock, hopefully it does well enough so we can get the Bourne Ultimatum as well, but sigh, I wish they followed the original plot, it was so kick ass!

While many of us disagree on the proposed quality of this movie, it looks like we all agree that we have to see it regardless of whether or not we think it's gunna be any good.

Shall we call it an event? The Mount Vernon theaters are nicer than the Bellingham ones...and closer to me. ;)
