well considering 4.6 and 4.7 have video playback problems. the 4.5 are prolly the best set at the moment.

as for the drivers being written for the 9700, don't know where you got that.
Laptop on the Omega 4.3's got me a 3dmark 03 score of 3485, with the onega drivers 4.7, I got 3557, anyhow

oh the ATI 4.7's gave me a 3dmark of 5458 on my 9800 pro.

What are the other specs on your main rig? Cuz I get roughly twice that with my OC'd 9700 Pro...

err your getting 10,000 3dmarks 03 on a 9700 pro OC'ed?

my main rig is an athlon XP 2600+ (266 FSB), 768 megs ram(pc 2100, ati radeon 9800 pro (stock speeds) Asus A7N8X deluxe Rev 2.

lappie is a 3.2 Ghz P4+HT, 1 gig ram (ddr 400), Mobile ati radeon 9600 pro sock speed 350/250 I've oc'ed it to 472/257. 3dmark 03 socre of 3580.

I no longer use 3dmark 2001, that tests DX 8, whereas both video cards are DX 9. last time I did lappie with 3Dmark 01, I was at 10000.
