June recap

[Ender]

June LAN has regretfully come and gone. With sadness we inform you that the next BLE LAN will not be until September most likely, but for sure not until October at the 412i - our beloved LAN home.

However, June LAN was a blast! There was much fun to be had and many great games played. Worms World Party made its return - and there was much rejoicing. :woot: There was one of the loudest and most likely most fun Deathball matches in the history of Deathball at least at BLE's ;).

There was also much fun to be had in Battlefield Vietnam, Desert Combat, and even Counter Strike! Our Ravenshield 2v2 contest was also a big hit with some crazy games being played and won!

Halo was a big hit on the consoles (as usual) with a great 2v2 Slayer tournament with a gripping ending! :p@stu and bigshow ;) There was also much Soul Calibur II and even some Mariokart on the gamecube with Super Mario Smash Melee game thingy! ;) :woot:

Thanks all who came and made it great! And a huge thanks to Warder and Jobe16 for helping us clean up! They both got a couple BAWLS and free entry to our bbq event coming up probably in August (it will be $5 to cover the food costs)! Thanks you guys! +100 cool points for you both for helping this invalid out!

And finally, who could forget, the coolest game that was had at the LAN. Congrats to FeaR for beating everyone but Dave. :) This was our official 2k4 ffa dm tourny!! :rofl: ;) :p And FeaR won a super cool leet heatsink for his computer...except that the heatsink is for a P4 and he has an AMD!!!!!! :rofl: :haha:
