Xbox Halo Tourney

For those interested. There is an Halo Tourney at First Presbyterian Church tomorrow(Saturday) at 6:00PM. It is being organized by a couple of local firefighters. It's a benefit tourney for the pastor's son who has a rare form of cancer in his eyes. He lost vision in one eye a year ago(i think) and is now going to lose vision in his other eye.

$10 per person. All of which will go towards his family to pay for medical bills.

There will be door prizes and prizes for the winners.

Yeah I heard about this on the radio today. I'm thinking I may try and go for a small bit to be cannon fodder and hand out some BLE flyers. :rup: Cannon fodder cause I truely suck at HALO. :D

A lot of people don't know this (probably because I've only played the game a few times on the X-Box), but I'm one of the world's greatest Halo players.

Bring it on! I want to do some practicing today, but I don't have any friends available for FFA DM. I might go online, but the guys online are the people that eat, breath, and sleep Halo.

Speaking of which.... the other night I had been playing UC, I couldn't get to sleep because I was still playing the game in my head.

I must agree with Disco. He IS one of the greatest Halo players in the world. I've seen it! He dies THE BEST. No if, ands, or buts about it. When it comes to dying in Halo, Disco is the best in the world!! Yep. Sure. You betcha! Couldn't convince me otherwise.:kneel:

This ABSOLUTELY sucks..... I just bought a new 5-port switch today($45) and ended up letting them use it at the tourney. When I picked up all my stuff, somehow I left the switch itself there!!!! Okay... I'm kicking myself BIG TIME.

Other than that... I had my butt handed to me on a silver platter. But I did win a copy of CounterStrike. So that made me feel a little better. All in all it was a lot of fun.

Yea, I pretty much got stomped as well. It's pretty sad getting wasted in the n00b bracket. ;)

But I did win an X-Box Live shirt...so...uh...expect to see that as a prize at BLE. ;)

I guess there was something like 50 people, and they raised over $1,000. Pretty awesome. BTW, all the Xbox stuff was donated by Microsoft. Can't say they aren't generous.

I think EndAr should get eye cancer so maybe they'll be as kind to us. ;)

I used to go by 86-Me, and I still do on occasion. But only when I'm feeling in the mood to take on EVERYBODY. Everybody seems to gang up on me with that name. Wonder why? ;) :D

I just played a game with 13 players this weekend... I went by "I.P. Freely" and "Wookiee"...

On my X-Box, I play under "El Muerto"... "The Jerk" on my roommates X-Box.
