I'll rent it someday. I only pay $8 for movies that I feel would be better with a big screen and a real loud surround sound system.

I voted for wild taun tauns because I can never get away from my family to go see a movie as much as I'd want to - which in this case I'd really like to because I think they put David Hasslehoff in there for the same reason that I would have: to poke fun at him. :) j/k I'm a big fan of Stiller comedy so I'd like to see it, but I just can't get away...but I'd also really like to see real wild taun tauns so I'm hoping that by picking that option someone will send some over to try and get them to drag me out. ;)

*ressurecte post* Ender, what excuse can I give you to go see a movie with me sometime?

:( I wish there was one man. :( With my 75 hour work weeks lately even going to the movies isn't enough to make me want to leave the house. I don't want anything in life anymore. :( I'm tired of working so much. It's the most unfulfilling thing in the world - like 10x more unfulfilling than masturbating even. :( :erm: uhmm...not that I would know - I've just heard.

No job is worth that much. Thats one of the reasons I left the Navy. It wasnt the fact that i had 6 month long sea cruises. Thats easy when all your friends are with you. Its the fact that 7 days a week I had to work from 6 AM to 10 PM. And every couple nights I would have to spend 4 of my 8 hours off working some more.
I don't know your situation Ender. Maybe you have to do it to keep food on the table. But if your doing it just because the boss wants you to, and they wont hire more help to get the work done. Then find a new job. It will only wear on you physicaly and mentaly. And it will affect your personal life (ie. no going to movies with Aristotle).
I just switched jobs. I hated to do it because I liked the owner and boss where I was working. But I did not like the work itself. He even offered a promotion and a raise. But I am much, much happier now that I am gone. And now I will be doing something I enjoy a lot more.

Yea...you make the interview on time yesterday?
Ender

No I was not in time for that interview (had to be there before 5 - didn't get to my car till 5) but I went by today and found out that I did not get the job. :( I do not know if me not getting there yesterday had any affect on me getting the job or not.
As far as my current situation - it's really kinda tricky right now and as much as I don't care for long days, at the moment I need the money. :(

Would this job of yours have hours that a student could work in the fall Ender? Looks like they could use some more employees.

You might keep your eyes peeled for a job over at GameStop in Sunset square. I like GameStop better than EB anyway. :)

I will never buy a game from GameStop again. They treat their customers like utter shit there. I've been in there 5 times since it became GameStop and each time they've been assholes to me.
It's OK, working for Eb would have meant working for a large corporation that wouldn't be as flexible as my current job. Plus they don't allow OT and they pay just as good as my current job. aka I'll make more money where I am now - even though I have to put up with lame hours on occasion.
As for you FeaR, they could probably give you work during the school quarter - but you'd have to take night classes. You'd probably work until 2 or 3 and then you'd be able to go to school. That's what I'll be doing...

Well if I were to do that then I would have to pick a new scheduel.
It pays well I assume, and I will need a school job. Like hell I'm going back to dishwashing. If you could do me a huge favor and talk to your supervisor/boss and ask if there are any openings for the fall quarter I would really appreciate it.

yeah I'll ask him. There usually is always a position for helpers. Have you ever done any construction/floor work before? Specifically tile? I'm pretty sure helpers get started at $10/hour. I'll talk to him tomorrow - because you're a BLE-er there may be some leverage there. :)

I built my house with my parents (we didn't hire any contractors for it, except a concrete contractor) lol That's got to count for something I'd think. During that I learned all the basics involving tileing (worked with a really talented tiler on the bathroom (he did the shower walls), getting him his tiles and tools, mixing grout, etc. and watching him work.) and my mom and I did the kitchen (We did a backsplash around all the walls in the kitchen, and all the counters) and the bathroom floor. (That's what he gets for letting us watch him do it rofl). I've done alot on the house involving general construction. That would include framing walls, hanging doors, pooring concrete, installing (and making) window frames and molding for all the walls, laying wood floor (and lynolium, however the hell you spell it), polishing and sanding said wood floor, making staircases. Also built the shop with my dad... Roofing, more framing, etc. I've also helped a couple family friends doing similar things.
How that would help with tiling.. but I do have some minimal experience with it. I'm sure I can pester you for any tips :P hehe.
Failing this, the job search is on. lol
