You come around every now and then
Your clothes are different but you're still the same
Why else would you come here?
Scumbag on a mission.

You're telling me that it's been a while
Shit eating grin and a brand new lie
Somebody let you come here
Scumbag with permission

Never thought I'd see the likes of you around this place
What's the special occasion?
Did you run out of friends?

Here you are, come around again
And things are different but you still pretend
You've got a reason to come here
Scumbag with ambition

And now you're telling me that things have changed
And you'll be leaving in a couple days
You've gonna change the world someday
Scumbag with a vision

It must be nice to know you got it all figured out
But from where I'm sittin'
It's the same thing again and again

You never stop to think before you open up your mouth
Cuz every time you do,
It's the same thing again and again

I could lie, and say YES, since I am a Creative Writing Major... But, nay, 'twas not I...

"Scumbag" is by Green Day.

It was on my WinAmp, and I like the lyrics so much, I wanted to share them.

Creative Writing, really? You know Jake Jans?

He's my roommate. :>

Nope... But, there are a lot of Creative Writing majors at WWU...

I'll likely run into him eventually in a few of my classes.

Not THAT likely, he's taking one or two more classes this summer and then graduating. ;)

edit: You posting from a school computer lab? I'm in the small one in the Arntzen basement. :D
