Where did your callsign come from?

My call sign came about because nobody could pronounce it and so it became annoying when I won at anything or my teammates needed help. So I changed it to Itsmeee because now instead of people saying "whatever your name is take left" they say "itsmeee will take left...er I mean I won't, I mean its...err" and so on and everyone laughs. Its just fun mayhem.

my name origingally (at age 7 - 8 ) was trebla. my name spelled backwards. Then when i started joining gaming clans and guilds at age 8-11 i changed it to NiGhTmArE. But all my clan/teammates always called me night anyways so i thought why not just change my name to night. well then when i had to start signing up for stuff and making accounts online, they wanted numbers and letters. 3218 was the first thing that came to mind and it was relitavely quick to type hence the name night3218. Since age 11 it has been my screen/account name for EVERYTHING.

There was a Simpsons episode where the Simpsons had a garage sale. They sold a jacket that said, "Disco Stud" on it in lights, but the D was burnt out... so it said, "Disco Stu".

I'm sure you all remember that.

My friend, Erik, saw that my last name started with STU and inspired by that Simpsons episode, he started calling me Stu, and Disco Stu, whenever I was around.

So, I became Stu.

When Ray Romano hosted SNL, he did an ESPN skit with Stuart Scott. He had several nicknames for Stuart Scott, including "Stu-Pot" and "Stumanji".

That's where Stumanji came from. I've had it ever since... I would say I'm the primary user of the name "Stumanji" as well, since I have that nickname all over the internet...

I ripped off "DaMan" from a friend (9ish). Named myself "Death Hunter" after a GI Joe (11ish). Some guy kept calling me "Deezee" at school, and I appended the Dr. because doctors are sweet. :woot:

My first handle was deadeye (or deadeye1). I use it in the context indicating a good shot. however when I hung out at chatephiles they thought I meant I had a dead eye (apparently (+) could be a crosshair or a dead eye) so due to the confusion I decided to change it to tha[\]atos. I chose thanatos because I had read "On a Pale Horse" reacently and it follows the mishaps of Death (aka Thanatos, aka the Grim Reaper, aka Greg (bad fur day)... etc). the encarnation of war called him thanatos all the time and I liked the sound of it, and I liked being associated with the grim reaper. although I did go as death for a while because I couldn't remember the specific name I wanted, I had to find the book and read it again to find it.

Mine also came from a book, I had just finished reading the Belgariad series and I thought the Rivan Warder was pretty cool, so I just trimmed the name down to Warder and have been using that for the past few years.

First. I was Bluehawk(SC), then HA-Hacker (SC), and then BlueSniper(NoVa) (SC), and then Pyro-sniper(SC), then Blue-sniper(SC), now Im l3lu3-snip4 on SC.

As far as PyroInsane goes, Well, My character on PristonTale (MMORPG) had bomb abilities, so i called him PyroManiac, then i decided PyroInsane sounded better, and ive been PyroInsane ever since, plus, it just sounds cool. And I like to play with fire, and Im definetly not sane... so... *poof* PyroInsane

way, way, way, back in the day; before any of yous had even: heard of/played on a computer (well, except for maybe dave, cause he is old :D ), there was this game called Monkey Island. It was an adventure/puzzle game that had great comedy to it, and was one of lucas arts first games.

well anyways, one of the objects in the game that it always talked about was grog, aka beer.

many years later, when EQ(evercRack) came out, the retarded game masters wanted me to have a more "role playing" type of a name then "a big troll", so they force me to change it. i chose grog @ first, but it had already been taken, so i just stuck a h into it and have used ghrog ever sence.

i added the '!' because it stands out. but people get that confused with 'I', so its likely to be dropped

Then like most for reg on internet i started using roman numeral 7 (vii) been using it ever since.

Excuse me? I've been playing/working on computers since before the days of Monkey Island. I was playing on computers back when the games were word based. First graphical games I played were "bounce the baby"??, Qbert, Snake, and Gorilla. I think I've been messing around with computers since about 1986.

I was in an MPlayer "hacking" clan back in 6th grade. Youngest member in the clan, and that was only because my friends older brother lived accross the street sucked at building computers. So he tought me how to "hack" and I taught him how to build. The name of the clan was... You guessed it: FeaR. At first my callsign was FeaR-CIA... But I decided that was gay and gayed it up even more by changing it to FeaR-Cizin. Then I dropped the Cizin (9th grade?) because no one ever pronounced it right (Kizin) and became FeaR. Recently with the BLE pwnage I have decided to become Lord FeaR. Maybe I will someday change my name to Lord FeaR Kizin, cuz that's just cool and stuff. I also will settle for "Cunning Beaver" as my preppy MSN callsign. Woot@r.

Then I settled down with Lachrymal for maybe 6 months (lachrymal glands are your tear glands, and I made people cry with my leet skillz), then got bored with that name, so went back into my 3500+ page dictionary and after much (5 hours) of searching, came upon Xiphias (ziphias), which is the genus name for swordfish (you know scientific names, long things you had to memorize in biology). As no-one could hope to pronounce it, I decided to make a nice and easy one... Ext. but it was taken in a few things, so it became Exte. (x-tee). THen I got bored with that one, and decided to get one that no-one else would have, so went with Chuwawah, because that's how it SHOULD be spelled. Then people started calling me Yippy, because thats what chuwawah's do and I talk alot on the mic in games. Xiphias will always be my fallback name, Exte, Chuwawah, and others are just boredom relievers.

When I had the name Elmo... I was browsing around for a CS spray and I saw this one with iFrag and then the quake symbol above it. I quickly stole this name and used the spray. I learned quickly that iFrag is a chat screen for Doom.. I believe. Yeah.. so that's how I got mine..
